#1! It is nice to be First. Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics is very proud to announce that Dr. Pietropaoli performed the first(excluding clinical trial studies), FDA-approved on-label Bridge Enhanced ACL Restoration (BEAR) surgery in the USA. This is a groundbreaking surgery developed by Dr. Martha Murray at Boston Children’s Hospital that restores the patient’s own ACL “keeping their own parts” as opposed to reconstruction.

Many patients who anticipate many more years of their active lifestyle, are looking for alternatives to invasive full knee re-placement surgery, and the lengthy recovery process in addition to some lifetime activity limitations (no running/jumping for example) that accompanies it. Knee Repair, Not Knee Replacement® offers just such an option.

What is Laser Therapy?
Laser Therapy is the use of specific wavelengths of light to treat painful and debilitating conditions.
How Does It Work?
Light energy enters the damaged cells and stimulates inter-cellular activity. This reduces pain in the area and speeds recovery of the damaged cells. Once the cells recover, the healing process is complete.
What Can I Expect After the Treatment?
Most people begin to experience positive results within a few treatments, with the average course of treatment being 6 to 12 sessions. Swelling is greatly reduced and there is a rapid relief of pain. Acute conditions usually subside quickly, typically within one phase of treatments, while chronic conditions can be controlled with regular treatments.
